On Saturday afternoon Curtis and I picked up our new family member, Charlie. Charlie is an 8 week old bichon-shih tzu cross.
He has oodles of energy and excitement, making decent photos next-to-impossible.
He does manage to slow down for food and naps.
Charlie loves meeting people and one of his first visitors brought him what has quickly become his favourite toy, a stuffed yellow hippo with a tugging rope attached to the rear end.
Charlie especially enjoys hippo tail.

He’s a cutie! Does he sleep well at night? I hear that puppies can be like babies in that regard

He’s been a pretty big whiny-butt at night, but he’s still adjusting to his new surroundings. We’ll just have to wait and see how the next couple of weeks shape up.
